Financial Specialist

As a Financial Specialist at kinfill, you will be entrusted with the crucial responsibility of managing the financial administration and ensuring smooth financial operations. Your attention to detail will be paramount from processing purchase and sales invoices to handling bank statements. You will play an active role in addressing inquiries related to overdue invoices and proposing payment solutions.

ACTIVITIES

— Processing the purchase invoice into the accounting system
— Following up on questions about overdue invoices
— Make payment proposals to the owner
— Processing the selling invoices
— Contact customers when their invoice is overdue
— Processing the bank statements
— Making sure the VAT is processed correctly
— Preparing weekly reports
— Make preparations for the month-end closure and reporting
— Proactively searching for improvements within the financial processes
— Give advice to the Financial/Business Controller and other members of the team when asked and on their own initiative
— Identify financial risk areas, think of ways to improve and execute the solution
— Prepare and help with the set-up of margin analysis, formats for value chain analysis, cash forecasts, and pricing models.

REQUIREMENTS

— A Bachelor’s degree in Economics (Finance & Control or Accountancy for example)
— Good communication skills
— Being accurate and precise
— Have robust analytic skills
— Experience with Exact Online and/or Basecone and Excel is a pre
— Being able to work independently
— Have a critical look at the current processes
— Self-starter, curious, and eager to learn
